This project reimagines a Townes Van Zandt record as a special edition release for the Middle East. While this type of release is not likely to have ever happened, it was incredibly fun and creatively challenging to imagine. I combined visual elements from Texas and Egypt, and blended Arabic and English typography to create a culturally resonant design that bridges two distinct landscapes and traditions to pay homage to an American music legend through a unique lens.
